Practicing at our Club

We welcome all Karting Australia associated drivers to our club and hope you enjoy our great facility.  Before turning up to practice, check if there is already a practice session created if not please contact the club to make sure the track is available for a practice session. Once it is confirmed you can practice you must have a Karting Activity Controller (KAC) set up a practice session in KOMP. Once the session is set up please notify the club this has been completed as we do not receive any notification that this has been completed so we can approve the session.

Everyone wishing to practice are required to complete the practice form by clicking the button below which will re-direct you to the Karting Australia Portal.

You will also pay your practice fee in the portal.  See fees and other requirements of practice below.

Please note:-  ONLY Karting Australia associated drivers are permitted to practice at our circuit under a ‘Social Karting’ event.  This also means that strict Karting Australia rules must be followed at all times.  To familiarise yourself with the rules please use the following LINK.

Practice Fees

Members $40.00 per day

Non-members $80.00 per day

Once you have completed these tasks you are to either call or text the club on 0412 960 705 who will organise the front gate access & toilet access.

Karting Australia and Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club require that – “a person over the age of 18 is present, has access to a phone, fire extinguisher and medical kit and not out on the Track at the same time.”  This means that a MINIMUM of 2 people to be at the Track for Practice; and one needs to be over 18.

Under 18 year old drivers must be supervised by their nominated legal guardian at all times.  They cannot just be left with someone else while you duck off to carry out another task.

We also require you to have read and understand the Karting Australia Practice Regulations which can be found via this link and requires you to acknowledge your understanding when completing the below form.  For further information on karting rules please refer to the Karting Australia Rule Book.

If you are the last one to leave the circuit then you are required to secure all interior gates and close/lock the circuit gate. Once all gates are locked please text the club on 0412 960 705 to advise the track has been secured.

Social Karting Activity/Private Practice

Any non-competitive activity organised under an Organising Permit must be supervised by a Karting Activity Controller (KAC) or Level 4 or higher Official. This is a compulsory requirement to ensure the club and members are covered by Karting Australia’s insurance policy.  These types of activities include general (private) practice and training.  Strict Karting Australia rules must be followed at all times.
